History

Theatre on the Edge (commonly known as ToTE) has a long history of entertaining the community. Since 1981 ToTE has made audiences laugh with creative, hilarious comedy created on the spot.

Seeing is believing! For more than 30 years an ever-changing cast has been performing weekly shows in addition to special appearances at Shad Valley, numerous high schools, Big Brothers of Canada, and many other places across the province. Our shows have been seen throughout Ontario on Rogers Television, and we’ve even performed at one of the largest stages in North America – The Centre In The Square in Kitchener, Ontario.

The troupe’s goal is really a simple one: to perform improv at our weekly shows and to teach others how to perform through weekly workshops.

Come see us at our current home at the Waterloo Community Arts Centre (WCAC) in uptown Waterloo, or book us to perform at one of your events.
